Ode To Michael

Sometimes when I have quiet time, I think about random things. I think of when I was little. I was a little kid in the 80's. I never listened to Madonna or Prince. I listened to Cyndi Lauper, Tina Turner, and Micheal Jackson.
I was a huge fan. I watched that Jackson 5 cartoon any time I got the chance to. As a kid I always thought about how cool it would be to hang out with Michael. I would be one of those who wouldn't blame kids for wanting to hang out with the guy. Then again what is weird is him sleeping in the same bed with children that are not his. Something had to have been going on, don't ya think?
In kindergarten, I was always painting. I painted pictures of me, E.T., and Michael Jackson. I was always drawing stick figures of me and Michael hanging out. There was a folder I drew on I think mom kept in the house somewhere. I don't know if she still has that.
It is funny to think that I somehow made the transition to being a Prince fan. I turned into someone drawing portraits, making mosaics, writing poetry about Prince.

Any books to spare?

Now, I am in the mood to collect books. I saw a James Patterson book that I really want to read called Swimsuit. It looks like a good read.
As much of a fan I am, I don't have any of his books. Why? I don't know. I'm like that. I love Madonna and I don't have all over her albums. Go figure.

I also love Hunter S. Thompson. I am really wanting the book The Curse of Lono. Normally it is super expensive and then I saw it for about 35 bones. I also am still collecting F. Scott Fitzgerald. I would like to have Jazz Age Stories, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and there was some play I think that was called the vegetable.
I want more Jennifer Lash books. I would really like to have On Pilgrimage.

Or maybe the jaws of life. Parking is so close at work you need to keep the car in neutral to push it into a parking spot. It is a little unusual because there are not a lot of skinny people working at my job. Maybe it's a little encouragement from the inconsiderate ones to lose some weight?

Hey, it's a telemarketer with a full mail box. This individual calls and hangs up. I ask for a supervisor, he hangs up and calls again just to hang up on me. I have my name on a do no call list. It means you do not call it.
If anyone can figure out where this number goes to, I want to know who it is. I am going to turn this jerk in.

Stayed In

I decided to be a hermit yesterday. Which may have been a bad idea. I wanted to stay inside. I played on the computer and slept.
Then I get a phone call from my boss. Which is out of the ordinary,boss never called me since day one. She called to tell me that the day trade did not go through as planned. I have a no call and no show. I was told to be rest assured, it was a misunderstanding. I was not scheduled for Monday. Groovy.
Paul was going to put the fan into one of the rooms. It got so hot in the house. I was wishing that I had accepted mom's swamp cooler. There is no air conditioning in the house. So far, I have two ceiling fans, two regular fans, and one air conditioner that is in my room.
Too many things to take care of and not enough money to do anything. I need a rail on my steps before winter. I need to turn my furnace into an air conditioner. Something needs to be put under the house to level it out. I have an outlet that is going to be replaced and I still have the cross wire issue in the utility room. Paul is working and I am certain I will be let go of soon. I am thinking of applying at Walmart again. I just want something with more interaction with people and closer to home.
I'm going to get out of the house for a little bit. I'm going stir crazy.

Happy Fourth!

Well, I can't go to sleep. It is one in the morning. I don't know how I am feeling about being around people right now.
It's been a fun couple of days. I bought my first bag of fireworks. It's kind of cool. I think my favorites are the popcorn ones, the Woo Woo, and this one that is kind of like a UFO.
Spent the day drinking Rock Star. Went to Mountain Home with dad. Hung out with my brother Justin. I picked up a ceiling fan from him.
Looked at illegal fireworks on the corner of Garrity. Smoked a big coffee infused stogie. Drank a beer called Bohemia. Let off a bunch of fireworks. The last one was kind of a dud.
Instead of saving it for the warranty, Paul decided to break out the torch and blow the damn thing up.
Any ways, very eventful day. Now, I'm going to try to get to sleep. I am full of anxiety. Some people think that just because they are men in the house they think that they do no speak to the owner of the house. It turns out Dan may be leaving. I don't know what to think. I just want to stay far far away from people Sunday.
I deserve it darn it. The days I had the day off and leaving events early were the days I had to go to work early. I need some quiet time alone.
