Playing House

Is this just me? I normally get junk mail. It's one of those unstoppable phenomenons that exists.
Ever since I got my humble abode, I get even more junk mail. I constantly get letters of obvious scams of insurance when I already got insurance for my home. Scams on how to lower my mortgage. Right, any issue I will go to a financial person at the IFHA. Okay?
Come to think about it, it's probably why people throw important information away. Wouldn't you agree?
Then mysteriously out of the blue, I have a pretend baby. I don't know where this baby came from. The moment I was handed the keys, the baby magazine people heard my 30 year old feet coming in through the door. Thank you Huggie's for your wonderful money saving coupons for diapers that I am not going to be buying. Thank you Baby's R Us for letting me know the nice promotions that may come in handy for any up coming baby showers. Thanks so much for the information for that fund that Jane Seymore talks about in the commercials, thank you Gerber. Thank you for all those free baby magazines so if I ever do become pregnant I can get some random advice.

Sweetwater Tropic Zone

I drug my guy downtown Boise. I wanted to do some window shopping during the day when everyone was open. We went to my favorite store called Lux. They buy, trade, and sell used clothing.
We went all over Macy's. I showed him a wide array of perfume that I liked. I ran across a yummy Guess that is in a brown bottle. There is also Versace which is fantastic as well. I wanted to find a suit for work but I think I may end up at JC Penny.
Paul and I were getting thirsty. As we wandered towards the Record Exchange I see a hip little place. We wander over and found Sweetwater Tropic Zone. Many strange spicy dishes that I had never heard of before. I knew the beer.
We had ourselves some Laughing Dog and looked over the odd menu. There were Gator Tots which has alligator meat. There was also one dish that was made out of goat. There were Conch fritters. I was like what is that? She said it was this critter that lived inside this huge shell. I ordered that.
The smell of the appetizer was very appealing. I think it would have been better if it weren't so spicy. There was more ingredients than the fish. Next time I think I will try the snack that is closely related to the banana. I can't remember what that is called.
I think it would be a great hang out spot. You can sit and have a beer and groove to the music of the island.

Evil Hallmark

There are a hundred and one million reasons I need to stay out of Hallmark. I bought a couple of snow globe ornaments with my name and Paul's name on them. I had this bracelet that mom got me from them. Nobody was buying them so they quit making additions for the bracelet.
The magnet in it broke a while back. Since then there had been many promises to fix it. We went to one that still had some charms. Paul dug through the chains for it and I got me a better bracelet. No more magnet, it has a real latch. I am wearing the bracelet again with a couple of new charms. I also looked at some cute things that I wanted. I saw a cool incense jar. There were some cool animal things. I also found a Batman ornament. He would go nicely with the Catwoman ornament.
I took some pics of some other stuff I found adorable. I need to stay out of there before I spend my life savings.

Memory is the first to go...

So, at the beginning of the month, I was in the ER. I guessed it was salmonella because of Dino. I presumed correctly.
I had since been more careful and his tank gets cleaned outside. I have been too leery to touch my pet. Not very many people know that they carry salmonella. You can get it from reptiles, chicken, and oscars. Also you can get it from unpasteurized dairy products.
About a week after the incident, I get a call from southwest health department. She asked me questions to make sure if it was the turtle or something that I ate. I let her know about the turtle.
Today, I get a call from her again. I am feeling a little irritated because she was still calling. I didn't understand why. My thinking was put to good use again. Maybe I should become a doctor...nah it's not me. I now believe that I can be pretty bright. I can put two and two together, damnit.
I asked her if it was on record that I had a pet. She said yes. But, it was not a strain from a reptile. It was from food. She proceeded to ask me if I could find any receipts or if I could remember where I have been before I got sick. I got to thinking, she is pretty persistent about the receipts and trying to remember what happened. You do realize that I am well trained on targeted and focused questions to cut to the chase. The tone of her voice told me plenty as well and I felt kind of bad.
So, I asked her, "Are there more people with salmonella?" It would be a little strange since I was told by the doctor salmonella is quite rare. Apparently not. She told me that there is pretty much a salmonella outbreak. I told her about my transition and finding information and remembering everything is going to be very difficult.
So, probably for the next couple days I am going to be doing some research. My receipts are a dime a dozen and are in random places. I freaked out and got lazy between jobs. Everything is still being picked up right now.
We were thinking maybe the chicken from Walmart, but we got the chicken days after. Tried to think of all the different places that we went to the day before work. I even thought about another location days before that.
I do feel a little more relieved that it was something that wasn't really my fault. I do know now that I really do not want to eat out anymore due to careless people. A company could have killed me. A company almost mutilated my life beyond recognition. It is hard to find a follow up that is open after 7pm and open on Saturday. I could have lost my job if I had taken some time off to see a doctor. Call centers do not take doctors notices. I would have not been able to afford the ER visit.
I am taking it like a champion. I am a tough person and I can take on a really great fight. When I find out who did it, I am going to sue them. I will not hesitate. There were so many things at stake and people need to be taught a lesson on how to be more careful. I am sick of irresponsible people out there who have a job and get to keep it while those who put up with their crap have to fall.

Can I get a little common sense?

I keep getting the winners in my house. Zack has been here for a couple of months. My guy won't stop griping about him.
Apparently, he pees in the backyard. I know he isn't the only one doing it. He does not clean up after his dog, his guests, or his guest's dog. He has an air conditioner that runs all day. When I go outside in the morning, there is a pile of cigarette butts on the table and several beer cans. This is every morning.
I have the second room mate. I knew he was going to be a bit inconsiderate. He was asking if the groceries are shared and that he likes the milk. Instantly, my foot is down on the food. Buy your own food. I know he was already in my lunch food because I saw a wrapper from my food in the garbage can in the bathroom. He was already using Paul's bathroom soap. Um, hello, training for a new job and paying for a house, I cannot afford to pay for yet another mouth to feed. He also thought he would use the detergent without asking first. He asked after he used it.
Does it even hurt anyone to ask to use something first? What the hell is up with people. In my whole life of renting from people, I never had this problem. Except for the guy burning in hell who used my phone without asking. Oh yes, someone else giving my things away along with that prick. The last place I lived at, people did the same thing.
I never would do a thing like that. If I am uncertain about something, I ask first. I don't just go digging into someone else's food. I don't give things away tat don't belong to me. Unless they are left behind and forgotten about. Use a little common sense.

Good Movie Alert

Movies that I anticipate are few and far between. All the ones I want to watch right now are at the expensive movie house. I have noticed the past few times I have been to the movies, it has actually been really busy. For the past few years it has been only me and the cashier.
Recently, I have become a Ryan Reynolds fan. It's quite odd. Scarlett Johansson is one of my favorites. I have quite a few movies that she is in. She has recently become my hugest enemy. Ryan and Scarlett are married. I hate you both! Just kidding. .oO(you make me sick!)
Anyways, I watched this preview for a movie called The Proposal. It's one of these movies where you know everyone is going to get into the deepest doo doo. Boss about to be deported back to Canada and she turns around and says that she is going to marry someone who hates her guts with a passion. For a minute there, I thought he was going to go to HR and report her butt. The way a movie goes, the character that can easily get out goes along for the ride.
The movie is quite good. It's very funny. There are some really great lines. There is also a really cute dog. I love this movie and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. If you have not seen the movie, you have to!

Eat crap and die Kanye

I think Kanye should be banned from the stage. I used to think he was a good artist. He goes off on how Bush does not care about black people on television. Okay, I thought Bush was a stupid talker. So is Kanye.
I could care less about the person that won her award. I don't listen to her music. Then here comes Kanye, once again opening his mouth when he shouldn't be. Dude, just shut your trap. Kanye apparently doesn't have anything intelligent to say. Whatever he is protesting isn't even justified.

Computer Crap Driving Me Mad

I am about at the last strand of hair. I had my computer taken in to have viruses removed. The computer guy was talking about how I shouldn't have Limewire on the computer. I get my computer back and there is stuff on here I don't know about.
There is an AVG software on here as well as a search and destroy thing for spy bots. My friend recommended Frostwire instead. I really need some computer genius for a friend. Seriously. I download it. The moment I download it, I have something that automatically gets me register for this fruttinet garbage.
I was still having issues with making things work that I finally got in order again. When it comes to Everio, I am the only one in the state of Idaho that knows how to get the equipment to function.
Anyways, the computer guy was saying how nervous he was about the Frostwire. Wonderful. He also asked what the fruttinet was. I have no idea. I removed the Frostwire. In the meantime, fruttinet keeps on popping up phony ads. The computer keeps flipping over to a page saying that this that or the other thing is not up to date.
I have tried everything to get rid of this crap. I turned up the pop up blocker. Not working. I tried using the AVG and the search and destroy. Nothing is working. I chat on the Frostwire forum and of course the idiots are denying the spyware. I talked to my ISP and they recommend One Care which has not downloaded to my computer for free since I moved here.
I have to take my computer in once again. I don't know how. My training is during the time when they are open and they are closed on the weekend. I need someone who can fix my computer for free ASAP.
My other issue at hand is another computer in the house that is not up to date. There is no wireless thing on it. My computer has WIFI built into it. So, I moved the modem next to the desk top computer. He has 100 mbps. That's not fair, I could only get 54.0 on mine. Now that it is moved, my Internet is moving slower and it changes from 34.0 to 54.0 and it keeps saying "low", "good", and "very good". The ISP of course, could not figure it out. It varies from being the walls (which are plaster) to other things being wireless messing up the connection. Another thing to figure out.
I wish I could take a break from the world for a week. I have been doing nothing but multi tasking. I can't get anything done on the weekend and I can't get anything done during regular business hours. I would do things online but it would be risky at this point because of the potential spy ware on here.

What a great weekend!

Friday I get a phone call about the ad in the paper for the room for rent. Maybe it was from online. Saturday, I got another room mate. So, I got two students living here.
Sunday was my brothers birthday. Happy birthday! I hope dad remembered yours, he forgot mine. My birthday was confused with Shykia's.
I closed my account with Chase. The credit card still exists. The banker was acting a little butt hurt that I did it. The damage was already done by WAMU and I already opened a "new" account with Wells. I don't know if I want that account for long. It is difficult to know the balance when there is a deposit and it does not show on the slip either. Security? I think not, if it was fraud I would be taking the money. That money didn't go to the Wells account however. I used the money from the closed account to pay for Rusty. I am going to be on a super tight budget right now.
The garden is still doing good. My white pumpkins are growing pretty good. Getting a ton of crookneck squash and the acorn squash is finally coming in. Just when we were giving up on the jalapenos they appear. Still waiting on the bell peppers. The cucumbers had been cross pollinated so we have some yellow cucumbers. I planted some other cucumbers. I don't remember what they are called but they are going to look pretty cool.

Week Two

Currently, I am on week two of training. I haven't had any time for anything throughout the day.
I have been getting life in general straightened out. I get up early in the morning so I can get things done. I call a bunch of people on my breaks as well as lunch. I have been having issues with the neighbors.
I was about to put some curtain rods up and I noticed my step ladder is gone. There was also an incident where someone had trespassed on my yard to let their cat out of my trap. There was another incident where there were broken boards in the yard and a board sticking in the fence. Their kids won't stay out of my yard either. Police officer stated that it was petty. Clearly he missed the point. The people next door have to stop. Working on a way to get surveillance set up. Guess who will get in trouble for all of the missing things around the house? If you know of anyone that has some spare electrical fence, I am all ears. Looking for cameras I can hide around the house and catch the bastards. I do believe some charges are going to be pressed.
The lady next door asked us if they did anything to make us mad. Ummm, yeah, they seem to think they have a right to disturb us. It would be quite obvious. Stay out of my yard and do not bug me. When she was told about the water being aimed at the backyard, the whole thing is turning into my responsibility. She forgets and we should reach over and shut off the water. As if I don't have enough to do around here.
Things seem to be going well. I realize I am not good with role playing. I am better at interacting with the customer on the phone. It's Jennifer flow. I am worried about the test though, I am no good with tests. As far as I understand, the sales I make is the test. I think it will be easy if that is the case.
Well, I have got to jet. I still have a long list of things to do. Need to check out new benefits and have to get up early once again to get things done.

Yay!

From what it looks like I am eligible for my benefit. For one week. Woo. Better than nothing.
I got some more good news. I am catching up in class. Which makes me happy, I was stressing really super bad.
Completed my first full week in training. I am pretty happy to have something new. Even though I am stressing whether I am going to be able to make a house payment or not. I am also stressed about how the medical bill is going to work out.
I am also hoping for rent. I should go and hassle him while I still have a chance. Trying to get a new room mate is a huge gamble.

Need Extra Time, A Study Budy

After my absence, I am already running a bit behind. I haven't had a chance to talk to someone about getting set up with my health benefits. There are a bunch of compliance things that are still not done. I haven't set up a direct deposit yet.
On top of that, I still have to call the department of labor to see what is going on with my check. Employer has not yet responded. They should be approved, I was fired. I was unable to meet goals. I was unable to jump the hoops to keep things the way they needed to be.
Which brings me to the topic of unions. In a "right to work state" there are really no rights for the worker. If there was a union at my last job, I would still be employed. There you have it. If you plan on moving to Idaho for employment opportunities, do think twice. If you want your rights make sure the job has a union.

One More Road Block

Yesterday was pretty fun. I broke a $20 to get some fives and a ten. It turned out that it costs $2.50 a day to park in the parking lot. Fab.
So, I go to Starbucks so I can break a $5. There is nothing under $3 there. Luckily, I came to the conclusion that I will never go there ever again. As soon as I give the cashier money, I begin to ask her a question to get some change. As I ask her the question, she closed her drawer. Then she stammers that she cannot. Then I want my money back. Yes, I am telling everyone by blogging you cow. This is the Starbucks on Broadway by the way. Hastily, she tells me to not tell anyone that she is doing this. It is against the rules. She took my five and traded it for the one dollar bills in a donation thing. Then quickly she gives me my coffee, tells me to have a nice day without looking me in the eye, and quickly shut the window.
I made it to the dirt parking lot and park my car. I made it a little early to my destination. It was a long 8 hours but I pulled it off. Nothing but paperwork. Throughout the day, I started to feel more and more uncomfortable.
On the way home from work, I started to feel a little worse. I spent a majority of the evening in the bathroom. Paul gave me some pills. It got worse. It didn't go away by the morning. Day two of work and I have to go to the doctor.
I go the hospital. I gathered all my paperwork for my insurance. Aetna had expired just yesterday. I didn't want to be with Aetna anymore because they have a real shit attitude. This will prove my point once again. I called Aetna because I needed information on COBRA. My new insurance does not start until the end of the month. I was referred to Fidelity. Again, I had to have an issue with the stupid pin to get through the system. I get transferred to the health benefits center. The guy talked to me like I was stupid and referred me to Aetna to see if they would cover anything.
I called Aetna once more. The lady was rude and told me that my insurance had expired. No joke I was calling to see if they would cover it. OH! My mistake. They never have any information PERIOD. That's right, I forgot why I hate Aetna to begin with. The lady was talking with such an attitude, I wanted to speak to her supervisor. She immediately bites my head off, "This is not a supervisor situation." Further escalating and would not let me speak. I told her since she is cutting me off and not letting me speak, I wanted to speak to her supervisor anyway. By the time she finally put me on hold, the nurse was entering the room and my call was lost.
So, I call Fidelity again. I threatened to call a lawyer (which was very tempting because I also had in my hand a lawyers number) if nothing gets straightened out. I am so sick of run arounds I can't wait to have a different provider. The guy helps me subscribe to the plan again. Which is $137 and it goes back to the time when I lost my job and "should" be effective today. GOD I HATE AETNA!!! If any other business would to be chosen to go Aetna should be the one.
So, I am in ER. I am dehydrated. I get all kinds of samples taken from me. Then they put something to hydrate in my arm. The testing they could do right away, everything looked great. I did need some anti biotics. Further lab work is taking place which could take days. I get a note to stay home for the day. This really sucks because I am starting a new job and I have to find a way to do a follow up.
The trainers are being pretty good about it. They do want me to get better as do I. The training is important as well. I need to talk to them to see what I can do about my follow up where it's not going to effect anything. Maybe I can pick a time frame where I can get out early enough to see a doctor.
